You are about to eat at Madeleine's, but do you know who she was?
It was at the end of May 1925, in Belloy-en-Santerre (80) that Madeleine was born and spent her childhood. A true modern woman, Madeleine has a lot of daily activities: harmonium in the church choir, banjo, piano and theater for her personal pleasure, nothing stops her. On the career side, she started out as a farmer in her native region: beets and potatoes hold no secrets for her. Between Madeleine and the plate? The border is fine. Very good cook, she opened, with her husband Aimé, her first restaurant in 1985 in Orléans and then passed on her know-how to her two sons. They themselves will continue to cultivate this family spirit, reaching out to the young generation who now run their own restaurants.
She left us in September 2015 and worked until her penultimate day… Passion, when you hold us!
What is certain is that if she was still there, she would wish you a very good appetite!
